  1. Processing Time

All Madelief Explores products are handmade. After receiving your payment, we carefully prepare your order for shipment.

We aim to ship orders within 1 to 4 working days. You will receive an email with a track & trace code as soon as your package is on its way.

Personalised products, for example with a name or made to measure, may have a longer production time. The expected delivery time will then be stated on the product page or confirmed by email after ordering.

Shipping costs are always clearly displayed at checkout before you confirm the order. Delivery times are indicative and depend on the carrier. We are not liable for delays caused by the carrier, customs or other circumstances beyond our control.

Delivery times are indicative and depend on the carrier. We are not liable for delays caused by the carrier, customs or other circumstances beyond our control.

During busy periods, for example public holidays, delivery times may be longer. We will communicate this in advance on our website where applicable.

  1. Shipping Method and Track & Trace

We ship via PostNL. As soon as your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with a track & trace code that allows you to follow the shipment.

Packages are not delivered against signature unless you explicitly request this, in which case additional costs apply. If no one is at home, the carrier will leave a message with information about collection or redelivery. If the package is not collected, it will be returned to our warehouse. 

  1. Damaged or Lost Packages

Damage During Transport

Inspect your package upon receipt. Have you received a damaged package? Please contact us within 48 hours after receipt via info@madelief-explores.com and include:

• Your order number
• Photos of the damage, both the packaging and the product

We will resolve this free of charge through replacement or a refund and, where necessary, provide a return label.

Lost Packages

If your package has not arrived after the expected delivery time, please contact us. We will start an investigation with the carrier. If a package is officially considered lost, we will send a replacement or refund the full purchase amount, including shipping costs.

A package is considered lost after the carrier’s investigation period, usually 10–15 working days after the expected delivery date. Do not wait too long to report it, the sooner the better.

  1. Incorrect Address

Please carefully check your delivery address at checkout. Madelief Explores is not liable for delays or non-delivery resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the buyer.

Have you discovered an error in your address after placing the order? Please contact us as soon as possible via info@madelief-explores.com. As long as the order has not yet been shipped, we will try to adjust the address. Unfortunately, this is no longer possible after shipment.

  1. Collection

Collection is currently not possible. All orders are sent exclusively by post.
