The welded steel buckle is sturdy and reliable, but as with any product containing metal parts, prolonged or intensive use may cause slight wear and tear. Regularly check the buckle, the seams between the two layers of BioThane®, and other hardware for integrity. This collar is designed for daily use and training, not as the sole restraint for extreme pulling force exceeding the stated breaking strength. Never leave your dog unattended with the collar on to prevent entanglement or choking hazards.
