The rivets and hardware of this collar are securely attached, but as with any product with metal parts, slight wear and tear may occur with prolonged use. Regularly check the rivets, buckle, and tri-glide for security and wear, especially with intensive or daily use.

This collar is designed for daily walks and use, not as the sole form of security against extreme pulling forces exceeding specified break strengths. Never leave your dog unsupervised with the collar on to prevent entanglement or choking hazards.

Do not use the collar as an attachment point to tether your dog somewhere and leave them unattended.

For puppies or dogs prone to chewing on their collar, we recommend supervision. The metal parts are not intended for chewing.
